USAGE: weedit -dclnqrs [DB to load] [DB to save] [directory to scan] c = clear database d = delete new dupes l = load name given n = dont add files to db q = quiet mode r = delete dupes saved in .dat s = save name given IF "-r" is given weedit only "-lq" are supported! The DB will be saved after its done! If you want to scan a directory with new files for dupes, without sorting them into your collection of files, use weedit like this: "weedit -nd c:\newfiles" this will delete all duplicated files but it will not add any file to the DB! after that just copy the files into your collection and run weedit like u usually do: e.g. "weedit c:\collection" this will only add files which arent in the DB yet! weedit will always change file entries of files which got modified, which should be something new too! files which have not been changed will not be scanned again, which speeds up the scan a lot! new feature added @ 28.01.2007: -if a file is deleted weedit will detect this and not detect new files with same crc32 as dupe! have fun CW =] known issues: -doesnt work on all systems some refuse to run it ? - FIXED 28.01.2007
